High Gear Specialties is the company behind the Techmounts brand. Since 1995 we’ve been crafting specialty products for motorcycle and powersports enthusiasts because, well, we’re enthusiasts too. We created the original Techmounts stem stand out of our own desire to have a beautiful, highly functional system for mounting accessories (OK, it was a radar detector) on our motorcycles.

We manufacture and assemble our products ourselves using the highest quality materials and fasteners we can find, and our goal has always been to meet or surpass the quality of other OEM motorcycle components. We have evidently succeeded, as we now manufacture exclusive product lines for some of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers in the world, and interest in our products is growing by leaps and bounds.

Coming soon we’ll have expanded products and application guides for ATVs and snowmobiles, and we are also developing products for marine and watercraft applications by popular demand.

We enjoy an excellent rapport with our customers, and can be found in person at many of the major motorcycle events throughout the USA during the year, including Bike Week in Daytona,, and selected other rallies and events.
