Installation Notes
When upgrading the rear pads, ensure that the same upgrade is applied to the front. The thermic black coating on the rotors does not need to be removed prior to installation. Avoid using brake cleaner or any other method to remove this coating, as it is an anti-corrosion feature designed for long-lasting resistance against rust. The coating will wear off in the pad swept area after the first 10 to 20 stops. Please note that attempting to remove the thermic black coating with brake cleaner is not covered under EBC’s warranty.
